Effective 15 April 2026, EC-Council will introduce updated requirements for the onsite exam environment. These enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening exam integrity, improving candidate authentication, and ensuring consistent and scalable exam delivery processes in alignment with ANAB accreditation and ISO/IEC 17024 standards.

Updated Onsite Exam Process

The updated process for candidates taking onsite exams will be as follows:

• Register, Upload Photo ID & Login via the exam portal (www.eccexam.com)
• Enter Exam Voucher
• Proctor Unlock (no change to proctor ID or credentials)
• Automated System Check (New Feature)
• Live Headshot Capture (New Requirement)
  • A clear photo will be captured through the webcam
  • Face must be fully visible with a neutral background and proper lighting
• Start Exam
